Does flipping the water filter/membrane over every so often increase the efficiency of your humidifier? - membrane filter

I estimated one Honeywell portable device (11 gallons). Turn the filter seems to work. All two hours back filter / membrane production and humidity increased by 5%.

I think it makes that water has penetrated the filter base, robbed by gravity through the surface, where they can be fed to more moisture in the air are transmitted through the ventilator.
