Port is produced from grapes grown and processed in the Douro region. The wine is produced then enriched with the addition of brandy (distilled spirits) to the fermentation is no longer, so that residual sugar in wine, and increase alcohol content.

Sherry differs from other wines because, as it is, after fermentation. After fermentation is complete, is fortified with brandy. Since the fixing takes place after fermentation, the softness of dry sherry are all natural are subsequently implemented. However, port is attached to half of the fermentation, stopping fermentation so not all are allowed sugar into alcohol and leaving a sweet wine.

Sherry is Jerez in Spain and is usually served cold as an appetizer.
It is not sweet (cream) (Amontillado Medium) or dry (sec).
Port is well served room temperature with AR good cheese and fruit after dinner.
